About the Proactive Sports Rx Team

Dr. Brittany Zuback is a sports chiropractor, strength coach, and former Division I and professional hockey player specializing in helping runners, endurance athletes, and active adults bridge the gap from rehab to performance. She combines evidence-based rehab, strength training, movement assessment, and individualized programming to help people recover from injuries, build resilience, and return to doing what they love with confidence.

Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Dr. Zuback played Division I hockey at the University of Vermont before continuing her career professionally while completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Her background as an athlete, combined with years of experience treating active individuals, shapes her practical, performance-focused approach to care.

Her philosophy — Rehab Redefined — is centered around identifying the root cause of pain, improving movement and load tolerance, and creating long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.

Whether someone is training for a marathon, returning to lifting, or simply trying to stay active without pain, Dr. Zuback’s goal is to provide a clear plan, ongoing support, and a collaborative approach to recovery and performance.
